Worldwide Component Shortages
Due to COVID 19 and everyone working from home the computer market has hit an all time sales record. On top of that the supply chain is deeply impacted by the Coronavirus. Companies can not manufacturer the quantities they normally can and with the increase in demand it has caused there to be more people needing components than their are being produced.

Tariffs
On top of component shortages the US tariff was extended on all items shipping from China. This accompanied with the component
shortage has caused price increases across the board on almost all computer components. GPUs have definitely been affected the most. That is why all GPU manufacturers increased the MSRP on all new cards. That’s also why you see increases in prices for GTX 16 series, RTX 20 series, and RTX 30 series

Crypto miners
On top of the component shortages and tariffs, crypto currencies have hit a record high. This has caused miners to continue buying up all of the graphic cards they can get their hands on. Driving the GPU prices up drastically for both new and used components. The combination of all of this has caused GPU prices and shortages that no one in the industry has ever seen.

When will this improve?
Its hard to know exactly when everything will go back to normal. As the pandemic continues improving and supply chains start to go back to normal the supply will increase. Also with more people going back to work we will see a minor decrease in consumer demand. We are optimistic that things will be back to normal by March 2021. Until then we will continue building and shipping PCs as fast as possible!

What’s our current processing time
Our processing times currently vary depending on the specific product. The processing time for prebuilts or custom PC parts marked as “extended processing” will usually be under 30 however it can be slightly longer on occasions. We consistently have parts on the way it just takes longer for us to get the supply we need!
Once you place your order you can check the live status of your PC with the “check status” feature on our site. This will show you the exact progress of your order and an estimated arrival date.
How are we combating this
We are avidly increasing the amount our inventory managers are able to spend on parts. Our current margins are razer thin but we are trying our best to avoid raising prices. We are able to get everything in stock, just in limited quantities which is what causes some delays in processing. Ordering a system ensures that we can start building your PC. Once any delayed parts arrive the build will be finalized and shipped immediately. We are ordering as much as we can and are still able to fufill all of our orders. It just takes much longer than normal for processing.
